Introduction

I am Falan / SImon, inventor of the VR gunstock. Back in 2013 we tried an Oculus DK1 and were blown away.

As release of consumer headsets became closer, I realised I wanted to shooting to feel more realistic. I am an avid gamer, who shoots in real life, a trained product designer and mechanical engineer. So I brought everything together and designed the very 1st VR gunstock. We called it the n00btube and showed it off as a PSA on reddit in 2016 (yep that was me!). I even think I might have made the 1st haptic stock using a base shaker there too.

KobraVR

The n00btube was never meant to be a product - just a PSA DIY project. I wanted to expand on my ideas, so in 2015 I launched KobraVR with my wife J.

We've tirelessly innovated, iterated, and listened to what the gaming community truly wants. Bringing many innovations to the VR gunstock market, that had never been seen previously; the grab/half cup, flip stocks, pump action mechanisms, We are constantly coming up with new ideas.

Future.

With new 1st person shooters, extraction (looter shooters) and battle royal games regularly releasing, all with different play styles, we are looking to have stocks that excel in multiple types of games and playstyles.

We now make a range of VR gunstocks to cater for Meta Quest and Sony PSVR2 headsets. Our stocks are highly configurable to cope with even the most janky games and some not so janky ones too!
